I have mentioned HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) many times here recently. But just as a refresher, this treatment has been shown to offer great results for children with autism. My friend's child who is 15 years old, and WAY out of that age 3-5 years critical window, has shown DRAMATIC improvement from HBOT.

The chamber that they use every morning from 5:30am-6:30am is the type we are planning to buy. I am currently praying about fundraising opportunities and am open to any suggestions. I will sell doughnuts, wash cars, whatever. If you have suggestions, feel free to email me or post them here. I was a professional fundraiser in a former life, but this is new territory. I don't have 'established donors' to call on. And I don't have a building that can bear their name as a thank you. The project is different, so the approach must be different. Please send your suggestions, even if you think they are crazy, I am listening!

A friend of mine is using HBOT with great results and she is planning to have financing available to parents. If you would like to talk with her about it, I can give her your number. I know she is not local for you but she still may be able to help you acquire one. I am considering using hers with my kiddos. We just talked about it today. I think it would be great for all of our kids since she said it reduces inflammation of gut, brain, etc.
