Leaving on a Jet Plane

It has been an eventful week for us. Kyan got sick Friday night and after 4 days of what I thought was the flu, we discovered he had a WICKED double ear infection and sinus infection. Poor thing. He was so pitiful. He's ahd 3 days of anti-biotics and seems to be on the mend, but isn't 100%.

All of this is stressful enough, so when you add that Brandon and I are getting on an airplane in 7 hours to go on a vacation, sans kiddos, that makes it a bit more stressful. I don't like leaving my babies when they are sick. Top that off with the fact that Brandon now has a SEVERE double ear infection with one ear drum about to burst and the other one bulging. He also has a sinus infection. Doc gave him antibiotic shot, and 3 other prescriptions, including pain meds. :( Happy 30th birthday Honey! AND the airplane ride intensifies pressure on his ear drum. Please pray that it doesn't burst. If it does, it will be very painful, and doc said he would need to stay out of water. Not sure he'll abide by that, but still pray that his ears are ok tomorrow.

I am a nervous nelly, as you probably know by now, so please pray for the safety and protection of us as we travel and of our children. They are in fantastic and very capable hands. They probably won't miss us at all. We need a break, and I am grateful that we are getting one.
