Happy Hall-o-ween...part 2

ok..that was cheesy i know, but had to do it. so, sunny gave a preview of my pumpkins and I wanted to show the rest of them off and some other views of the "political pumpkin". i have to say that with the pumpkin carving kits and all the patterns that you can find online...pumkin carving is really cool. (and yes, i'm an idiot for staying up till 2:00 am to carve pumpkins...however, i did see a really good episode of law and order)
Here are my works...

Mr. Happy Face...

And at night...

Spider Web with Spider...(this one was hard...and it got broken when a kid stepped into it...the dad felt horrible...it's ok, i can carve another one!!!)

This one definately got the most attention. There is a couple in our neighborhood that dressed up as Senator Obama and Governor Palin...was really funny. Our neighbors mostly liked it. They wanted to know how long it took to do this one...about 1 hour.

that was all my pumpkins for this year. i told sunny that i have started something now and will have to have a better pumkin next year. i do have a darth vader pumkin pattern and will have to think of something new to do. it's funny to carve them and you have to be really carful not to break them while you are carving. patience is key!

on another note, pops and cindy sent the kids a birthday present early and i wanted to put some pictures on of it. they got a trampoline!!!!! they LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it...here are some pictures...
some are blurry because it's hard to catch 3 almost 3 year olds and ask them to be still on a trampoline!!!

also this afternoon, braylen found some tools and wanted to help daddy "fix the trampoline". he saw me working on this last week and felt he needed to help out. he's so sweet and he actually had the right part on the nuts and bolt!

I'm helping daddy...

"fix, fix daddy..."

that's it for now. please...i don't want to soap box or anything, but please go vote this year. if you have never, please do. regardless of party or whatever, vote. it is important to our country that you do. ok, i'm done...

They look like they love that trampoline (as most kids do). I CANNOT believe they'll be three in a couple days. Crazy!
