Nope. Not kidding. Yes, it really is our house. Yes, that is the kids' play climber that is crushed beneath the tree. No. No one was hurt. Yes, we are incredibly grateful to God for that. Nope. No storm, no lightening, and the tree isn't dead. Yeah, there's a good bit of damage to our siding, gutter, and possibly our roof. Not to mention the fence and the kids climber. Yes, this would theoretically be our second claim on insurance this week, but we have $1,000 deductibles and the robbery cost me just under that, so I just get to eat that. The house will do doubt cost more, but there goes another $1,000 that we just have lying around waiting to spend. Ha! No, our insurance agent doesn't hate us. He's my dad. So no danger of that happening in this lifetime.
Just wanted to share our fun. Oh, and to add insult to injury, the garbage disposal died this morning. Seriously, you might want to stay away from us for a while. I don;t think you can contract bad mojo just from reading a blog, but who knows?
