so, sunny went out to dinner tonight with kelly (or keh-ye if you are 3 years old and adore her! braylen loves kelly right now...he ran to her at church last sunday-went right past mommy and daddy!!)
so back to the story, we ate dinner and then went outside to play in the yard. the boys played on the trampoline with big exercise balls and had fun rolling over them to land on their head...probably not the smartest thing to do, but hey...it's dad and mommy's gone to dinner! actually kynsie kept saying that mommy went to the grocery store, so i just said ok!
after playing outside for about 1.5 hrs, we come in to give baths. i wash hair and bodies and then braylen stands up. now, i have to preface this with the fact that i taught braylen how to say "i pooted" when he passes gas. it's so stinkin funny, but i'm sure that his teachers probably won't like it when he tells them. so anyway, he stands up and proceeds to poot not once but TWICE LOUDLY!!! i started to laugh, but then came the best line of the night...he said...
"i two-pooted, daddy!!!"
it was all that i could do not to bust out laughing right there...the look he had on his face was priceless. he was so proud of himself...it was like he had won the masters! all i could think about was "buddy, this isn't golf!" i could just see him on a green somewhere and his golf buddy say "how'd you do?" and he says "well, i two-pooted!!"
oh he cracks me up...
