caution...ranting ahead...

well, it is September 1st. WOW...where has this year gone? it is almost football season...how do i know you ask...let me tell you. it is because on about every radio station in K-town they play this one little song that signals the start of football season...you guessed it "ROCKY TOP"!!! and it's not just one version...oh no...that would be to easy. there is the jazz version, the "club" version, the original hick version and i think there is a muzak version for elevators. however you like it you can here it on any given day more than once. also, the color scheme of peoples wardrobe turns from all colors to ORANGE!!!
now then...i want to say that I am a UT fan by conversion. I grew up a University of Alabama fan (ROLL TIDE) but i have since seen the light and become a UT fan, HOWEVER...when UT plays Ala. i root for Alabama...sunny just puts up with me....

People here in Knoxville and throughout TN are waiting to hear those words..."IT'S FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE" and see the team run out into the Power T to the tune of Rocky Top, i have to admit that seeing the team run out onto the field in Neyland Stadium really is an awesome experience to see...(i've included a pic. from a game)

well, i went to wal-mart again today. got the "necessities" and was doing fine, till i started to leave. do directional arrows mean anything to anyone? evidentally not because no one can read them! and it only seems to be at Wal-mart. Kroger...sure up and down mean things...but at wal-mart...no. and don't tell me you don't know what i'm talking about. you are driving down the RIGHT way and trying to find a parking place and them BAM some moronic idiot is coming at you from the other direction and looking at you like you are in his way...IDIOT...GET OUT OF MY WAY!!! AGHHHHH......it really makes me want to cuss...and if i thought i could loose my salvation...it would be at Wal-Mart because of idiotic drivers. if you are one of these...STOP!!! read the directional arrows and follow them...gosh...it's not that hard. -*OK*- ranting over.
i hope that you all are doing well. please continue to pray for the people that are homeless and needing food and water in the hurricane destroyed areas.
grace and peace...

hmmm... looks like you might have got spammed... but yes - I completely agree with you on the parking lot thing - and I also hate when people cut across the parking lot without looking where they are going

This blog stuff is fun, but I'm still trying to figure it all out.
